Short-Term Energy Outlook Notice

Notice: We reposted the August STEO on August 12, 2021, to correct a sentence about our coal forecast from the original posting on August 10, 2021. The corrected sentence reads: “We expect total consumption of coal to be 33 MMst greater than primary coal supply in 2021, contributing to significant inventory draws.” The original sentence incorrectly referred to electric sector consumption of coal instead of total consumption of coal.
