Short-Term Energy Outlook Notice

Please note that the Appendix to the August 2018 Short-Term Energy Outlook Table a1 as originally published showed incorrect consumption data for Iran liquid fuels for June 2018. Iran liquid fuels consumption in June 2018 averaged 1.7 million barrels per day, according to EIA estimates, rather than 2.2 million barrels per day as originally published.

This correction has also been incorporated into the regional consumption totals in STEO Table a1, Table 3a, and Table 3d; and the crude oil and other liquid inventory changes published in STEO Table a1 and Table 3a.

EIA corrected the data tables at approximately 5:00 p.m. (Eastern time).
