Short-Term Energy Outlook Notice

Released: September 10, 2026

Notice:  The Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO) we published on September 9, 2026, contained an error in our Notable Forecast Changes table included in the Overview section. The data labeled Distillate crack spread in the original publication incorrectly referenced the numbers for the Gasoline crack spread. We have updated the table to reflect the numbers for the Distillate crack spread. Please reach out to the STEO team if you have any questions.
