Over the past decade, Israel and Egypt have emerged as significant regional natural gas producers in the Eastern Mediterranean region; natural gas production grew significantly after major offshore discoveries in Egypt and Israel began commercial operations in the 2010s. Cyprus’s natural gas fields are still under development and could boost regional growth once commercial production begins.
The development of midstream infrastructure for natural gas in the Eastern Mediterranean is still emerging. As of July 2025, Egypt is the only country in the region with liquefied natural gas (LNG) export capacity, which Israel uses to deliver natural gas outside the region. Cyprus aims to use Egypt’s LNG infrastructure once its offshore fields begin producing, which could lead to competition with Israel for Egypt’s LNG export capacity. Jordan and Lebanon are developing LNG infrastructure that would allow additional natural gas import flexibility.
Sep 2, 2025 The September 2025 Petroleum Marketing Monthly, with data through June 2025, presents monthly and annual price and volume statistics for crude oil sales in the United States.
Aug 29, 2025 The report includes supply and disposition of crude oil and petroleum products on the national and regional levels. The data series describe production, imports and exports, movements, and inventories.
Aug 29, 2025 These data include company-level imports data collected from the Form EIA-814, Monthly Imports Report.
Aug 29, 2025 The Natural Gas Monthly (NGM) presents volume and price data each month for natural gas production, distribution, consumption, and interstate pipeline activities. NGM also reports producer-related activities and underground storage data. NGM data on 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia are collected on EIA surveys.
Aug 29, 2025 The report includes includes final annual data for the supply and disposition of crude oil and petroleum products.
Aug 29, 2025 The U.S. Energy Information Administration release showing national monthly biofuels operable production capacity.
Aug 29, 2025 Monthly data on rail movements of crude oil are available for June 2025. The new data on crude-by-rail (CBR) movements are also fully integrated with EIA’s existing monthly petroleum supply statistics, which already include crude oil movements by pipeline, tanker, and barge.
Aug 29, 2025 These monthly production estimates are based on data from Form EIA-914, Monthly Crude Oil, Lease Condensate, and Natural Gas Production Report.
Aug 28, 2025 Natural gas prices, supply and demand balances, liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports, rig counts, storage levels, weather data, and other market activity or events.
Aug 26, 2025 Data in the August 2025 Electric Power Monthly (EPM) are for June 2025, when net generation in the United States increased 0.8% from June 2024. Consumption of coal for power generation was up 6.0% compared with the previous year. The average residential retail price of electricity was up 6.6% from June 2024.
Aug 26, 2025 The Monthly Energy Review is our comprehensive report on recent and historical energy statistics. According to our August 2025 report, preliminary estimates indicate that total U.S. residential energy consumption equaled 1.3 quadrillion British thermal units in May 2025, a 2% increase from May 2024.

Aug 12, 2025 Global oil prices. The Brent crude oil price in our forecast declines significantly in the coming months, falling from $71 per barrel (b) in July to $58/b on average in the fourth quarter of 2025 (4Q25) and around $50/b in early 2026. The price forecast is driven largely by more oil inventory builds following OPEC+ members’ decision to accelerate the pace of production increases. We now expect global oil inventory builds will average more than 2 million barrels per day (b/d) in 4Q25 and 1Q26, which is 0.8 million b/d more than in last month’s STEO. Low oil prices in early 2026 will lead to a reduction in supply by both OPEC+ and some non-OPEC producers, which we expect will help moderate inventory builds later in 2026. We forecast the Brent crude oil price will average $51/b next year, down from our forecast of $58/b in last month’s STEO.
As U.S. crude oil and natural gas production have increased, so has the volume of production declines from existing wells. To offset the increasing declines, operators today must bring on new wells to sustain or increase production levels. More ›
