Nov 4, 2024 This report contains monthly summary data for the photovoltaic industry in the United States. Data include manufacturing, imports, and exports of modules in the United States and its territories. Summary data include volumes in peak kilowatts and average prices. Imports and exports are available at the national level, and shipments to the United States are listed by state.
Nov 1, 2024 The November 2024 Petroleum Marketing Monthly, with data through August 2024, presents monthly and annual price and volume statistics for crude oil sales in the United States.
Oct 31, 2024 Supply and disposition of crude oil and petroleum products on a national and regional level. The data describe production, imports and exports, movements, and inventories.
Oct 31, 2024 These monthly production estimates are based on data from Form EIA-914, Monthly Crude Oil, Lease Condensate, and Natural Gas Production Report.
Oct 31, 2024 In August 2024, dry natural gas production decreased year over year for the fifth time in the past six months. Preliminary dry natural gas production in August 2024 was 3,203 billion cubic feet (Bcf), or 103.3 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d). Production was 1.1% (1.2 Bcf/d) lower in August 2024 than in August 2023 (104.5 Bcf/d); despite this decrease, dry natural gas production was the second highest for the month since 1973, when we began tracking dry production. Gross withdrawals increased from August 2023
Oct 31, 2024 Monthly data on rail movements of crude oil have been updated for August 2024. Crude oil movements by rail have significantly increased during the past five years. The data on crude-by-rail (CBR) movements are also fully integrated with EIA’s existing monthly petroleum supply statistics, which already include crude oil movements by pipeline, tanker, and barge.
Oct 31, 2024 The U.S. Energy Information Administration release showing national monthly biofuels operable production capacity.
Oct 31, 2024 This site contains spreadsheets with wholesale electricity and natural gas data from seven major trading hubs that cover most regions of the United States. The data are through October 29, 2024, republished, with permission, from the Intercontinental Exchange.
Oct 31, 2024 Imports data at the company level collected from Form EIA-814, Monthly Imports Report.
Oct 30, 2024 The Annual Coal Report (ACR) provides annual data on U.S. coal production, number of mines, productive capacity, recoverable reserves, employment, productivity, consumption, stocks, and prices. All data for 2023 and previous years are final.
Oct 30, 2024 The Annual Coal Distribution Report (ACDR) provides detailed information on U.S. domestic coal distribution data (excluding waste coal and imports) for 2023 by coal-origin state, coal-destination state, mode of transportation, and consuming sector. In addition, the report summarizes foreign coal distribution by coal-producing state. All data for 2023 are final, and this report supersedes the data published in the four Quarterly Coal Distribution Reports previously issued for 2023.
Oct 29, 2024 South Africa was the largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa in 2023 in terms of gross domestic product (GDP), according to the latest estimates by the World Bank Group. The country has a large coal mining industry and mostly uses coal to meet its energy needs. Although South Africa has a high level of access to electricity relative to other sub-Saharan African countries, its electric power sector experiences frequent power outages because of insufficient investment in electricity infrastructure.
Oct 29, 2024 We have updated the state carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions page. The update features energy-related CO2 emissions data between 1970 and 2022 based on the State Energy Data System.
Oct 28, 2024 The Monthly Energy Review is our comprehensive report on recent and historical energy statistics. This month marks 50 years of continuous publication, beginning with the October 1974 issue.

Oct 17, 2024 Argentina's energy sector relies mainly on fossil fuels, especially natural gas and oil. In 2022, 47% of the country's energy production came from natural gas, and the natural gas share of primary energy consumption was 49.5%. Argentina’s global share of natural gas consumption was 1.15%. Oil accounted for 42.8% of total energy production and 40.4% of primary energy consumption.
Oct 17, 2024 The Electric Power Annual 2023 (EPA2023) report is now available with final data through 2023. We updated Analyses and Quick Facts for:
As U.S. crude oil and natural gas production have increased, so has the volume of production declines from existing wells. To offset the increasing declines, operators today must bring on new wells to sustain or increase production levels. More ›
