The July 2017 Petroleum Marketing Monthly (PMM), with data through April 2017, presents monthly and annual price and volume statistics covering crude oil and refined products sales in the United States.
In this month’s edition of the PMM, crude oil price data show mixed trends, while prices for finished gasoline and distillates were on the rise. U.S.–level Prime Supplier data show sales of many finished petroleum products remained above year-ago levels in April.
Quarterly Coal Distribution Report – First Quarter 2017

Provides detailed U.S. domestic coal distribution data for January – March 2017, excluding waste coal and imports, by coal origin, coal destination, mode of transportation, and consuming sector. Quarterly coal distribution data for all years are preliminary and will be superseded by the release of the corresponding “Annual Coal Distribution Report.”
Natural Gas Monthly

In April 2017, for the fourteenth consecutive month, dry natural gas production decreased year-to-year from the same month a year ago. The preliminary level for dry natural gas production in April 2017 was 2,148 billion cubic feet (Bcf), or 71.6 Bcf/day. This level was a 1.3 Bcf/day (1.8%) decrease from the April 2016 level of 72.9 Bcf/day.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration released new data today showing national and regional monthly biodiesel production for April 2017. In addition to biodiesel production, data included producer sales, producer stocks, and feedstock inputs.
U.S. Movements of Crude Oil By Rail

Monthly data on rail movements of crude oil have been updated for April 2017. Crude oil movements by rail have significantly increased over the past five years. The new data on crude-by-rail (CBR) movements are also fully integrated with EIA’s existing monthly petroleum supply statistics, which already include crude oil movements by pipeline, tanker, and barge.
U.S. Natural Gas Imports & Exports 2016

Natural gas net imports set a record low of 685 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in 2016, continuing a decline for the 10th consecutive year. U.S. exports were more than three times larger than the level 10 years ago as a result of significant infrastructure improvements to natural gas pipelines and liquefied natural gas facilities. These data measure primary petroleum product deliveries into the states where they are locally marketed and consumed.
Refinery Capacity Report

Data series include fuel, electricity, and steam purchased for consumption at the refinery; refinery receipts of crude oil by method of transportation; current and projected capacities for atmospheric crude oil distillation, downstream charge, production, and storage capacities. Respondents are operators of all operating and idle petroleum refineries (including new refineries under construction) and refineries shut down during the previous year, located in the 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and other U.S. possessions.
