Turkey Country Analysis Brief

The latest Prime Supplier Report presents data collected through December 2010 on Form EIA-782C, "Monthly Report of Prime Supplier Sales of Petroleum Products Sold for Local Consumption." These data measure primary petroleum product deliveries into the States where they are locally marketed and consumed.

Coal Distribution Report - Annual 2009 (Final)

This final report provides detailed information on domestic coal distribution by origin State, destination State, consumer category, and method of transportation. Also provided is a summary of foreign coal distribution by coal-exporting State. All data for 2009 are final and this report supersedes the data published in the four quarterly reports during 2009.

Monthly Flash Estimate

The February issue provides early highlights of December 2010 electricity data. In December 2010, total electric power generation in the United States increased 3.1 percent compared to December 2009. The average U.S. retail price of electricity increased 1.3 percent in December 2010 compared to the previous year.

Electric Power Monthly

The latest issue (February 2011) is now available. Data are for November 2010 and show net generation in the United States rose 3.0 percent from the November 2009 level. Consumption of coal for power generation fell 0.7 percent compared to November 2009. The average retail price of electricity for November 2010 was 9.62 cents per kilowatthour, 2.0 percent higher than November 2009, when the price was 9.43 cents per kWh. Petroleum Marketing Monthly

Refiner acquisition costs for crude oil (the cost of crude oil, including transportation charges and other fees) remained on an upward path in November. The monthly average refiner acquisition cost for domestic crude oil rose $3.17 (4.0 percent), to $82.05 per barrel, while the average cost of imported crude oil climbed $3.38 (4.4 percent), to $80.40 per barrel. The composite refiner acquisition cost (the weighted average of domestic and imported crude oil prices) increased $3.28 (4.2 percent) from October's level, to $81.05 per barrel, its highest level since September 2008. Data reflecting sales of finished petroleum products sold for consumption during November show a 1.2 percent decline in gasoline sales at the U.S. level from October's rate, while sales of distillates fell 1.7 percent month-on-month. More specifically, ultra-low sulfur No. 2 diesel fuel sales fell 5.2 percent, while sales of No. 2 fuel oil continued to climb firmly as the heating season progressed.

From 2020 to 2024, crude oil and condensate exports from Russia averaged 5.0 million barrels per day (b/d). Exports from Russia in the first half of 2025 (1H25) were 4.3 million b/d (compared with 4.8 million b/d in 2024). Even as crude oil export volumes from Russia have remained relatively high, the destination of these exports has shifted, mainly due to sanctions related to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
