Biography

Since joining EIA in 2008, Katie has held multiple leadership and technical roles. Before that, Katie led the Data Analytics Team, advancing the Office of Energy Statistics through research, development, innovation, process improvement, and coding. In that role, Katie was the lead statistician for frame construction, sample design, weighting, estimation, and imputation and also provided broader survey methodology support. She led multiple research projects on using satellite maps to construct the frame of commercial buildings, using self-administered modes for the consumption surveys and collecting data for data center buildings.
