    EIA has revised tables 1.1; 1.2; 1.3; 2.2; 2.3; 2.4; 2.5; 2.6; 2.7; 2.8; 2.9; 2.10; 2.11; 2.12; 2.13; 3.23; 3.24; 3.25; 3.26; 5.4.B; 5.4.C; 5.4.E; 5.4.F; 5.12; 7.8; 7.10; 7.12; 8.4; 9.1; 9.5; 10.6; 10.7. These tables were revised because of data corrections in reported data for natural gas consumption for useful thermal output, electricity sales for resale, commercial retail sales/revenues, energy efficiency program life-cycle costs, and average power plant operating expenses.

These revisions resulted in the following percentage changes relative to the original figures in the 2017 Electric Power Annual issued on October 22, 2018:

    • Natural gas consumption for useful thermal output (UTO) (-25%)
    • Commercial sector natural gas UTO consumption (-78.9%)
    • Power plant carbon dioxide (-1.1%) and nitrogen oxide (-3.7%) emissions
    • Energy efficiency life-cycle costs incentives (0.9%) and other (1.6%)
