EIA's first Renewable Energy Map presents an integrated picture of renewable energy resources in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. The map displays solar, geothermal, and wind energy potential; indicators of hydroelectric, biomass, and wood energy potential; and the geographic location of all renewable energy power plants with a net summer capacity of 1 megawatt or more.

Short-Term Energy Model

Provides the installation package (exe) for the monthly short-term energy projections (revised 11/14/2001). With the model, users may edit the base case scenario assumptions and generate alternative forecast variations around ours. Also provides links to a monthly spreadsheet of results, the underlying monthly data and an XML datafile for all base case variables for alternative presentations.
