International Petroleum Monthly - November 2001

New England Renewable Energy Map

EIA's new Renewable Energy Map presents an integrated picture of renewable energy resources in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The map displays solar, geothermal, and wind energy potential; indicators of hydroelectric, biomass, and wood energy potential; and the geographic location of all renewable energy power plants with a net summer capacity of 1 megawatt or more.

Detailed Statistical Tables, 2000

Today the Energy Information Administration released an advance copy of the statistical tables that will appear in Appendix B of "Performance Profiles of Major Energy Producers, 2000" on its Web site. The tables consist of financial and operating statistics of the major U.S. energy companies that report to the Financial Reporting System (FRS) on Form EIA-28. The full report will be published in January 2002.
