The year 2000 Form EIA-767 preliminary database is now available on EIA's
Electricity page in
DBF format. The data file contains information regarding steam-electric plant operations and
equipment design, including boilers, generators, cooling systems, flue gas particulate collectors, flue
gas desulfurization units, stacks and flues. These data are used by the Environmental Protection
Agency as the basis of their Emissions Allowance Tracking System.
