International Petroleum Monthly - March 2002

This report contains monthly world oil production data through January 2002, monthly OECD country demand, imports, and stocks data through November 2001, and the Oil Market Chronology for February 2002. Also included are international oil balance data for 1997-2001 and annual oil data series for 1970-2001.
Monthly Petroleum Products Time Series Data, by State -- an Update

On the US Map click on the desired State and then select the desired time series under Petroleum or Natural Gas; Or, from the right column of the EIA States page you can go directly to the EIA Monthly Time Series Data for each State. Five sets of time series are accessible: The updated petroleum products series: (1) Petroleum Product Prices, (2) Petroleum Product Sales, (3) Petroleum Product Stocks. They start from were January 1996 and go through January 2002. The NG series: (1) Natural Gas Prices, (2) Natural Gas Production and Sales, start from January 1996 and go through November 2001. The data are extracted from the Oil and Gas Information Resource System (OGIRS).

U.S. Nuclear Industry has Record Year, Again

U.S. nuclear electricity generation in 2001 increased by 1.8 percent, resulting in the third
consecutive annual record for nuclear output. Generation was higher in 8 months of 2001 than in
the comparable months of 2000. The largest monthly difference was in October when generation
was 5 billion kilowatt hours higher in 2001 than in 2000.
