Upcoming Petroleum Supply Monthly (PSM) release schedule

Release Date: January 5, 2026

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) will release revised PSM data for October 2025 on Friday, January 30, 2026.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimated export quantities for October 2025 Petroleum Supply Monthly (PSM) data equal to export quantities from September 2025 PSM data. Export quantities affect calculated demand measured as product supplied, transfers to crude oil and adjustment quantities, and net imports in the PSM. The U.S. Census Bureau is the usual source of export data in the PSM; however, Census export data releases were delayed due to a lapse in appropriation at the Census Bureau.

After receiving October 2025 export data from the Census Bureau, we are releasing revised data for the October PSM. Revised data include exports, product supplied, transfers to crude oil and adjustment quantities, and net imports. Revised data are available in PSM interactive (petroleum navigator) data tables and in EIA’s API Petroleum section.

Please visit the Petroleum Supply Monthly (PSM) export notes and Q&A page for additional information about the first release of PSM data for October 2025.

Petroleum Supply Monthly (PSM) data for November 2025 are scheduled for release on Friday, February 6, 2026.

The U.S. Census Bureau will release trade data (both imports and exports) for November 2025 on Thursday, January 29, 2026. As a result, we will delay release of PSM data for November 2025 from the original scheduled release date of January 30, 2026, until Friday, February 6, 2026. The delayed PSM release will allow us time to incorporate export data for November 2025.

Release dates for U.S. Census Bureau trade data after January 29, 2026, will be determined.

We will provide updates on any future impacts to PSM release dates as the Census Bureau continues to update its release schedule.
