October 3, 2024

We revised the 2022 Form EIA-923 detailed data files to:

  • Correct the reported May 2022 heat content of the wood/wood waste solids (WDS) energy source for Woodland Pulp, LLC (Plant 10613)
  • Correct the reported 2022 revenue from sales for resale value for Albany Green Energy (Plant 60340)
  • Correct the reported prime mover for New Orleans Power (Plant 60928) from combustion (natural gas) turbine (GT) to internal combustion engine (IC)
  • Correct the reported 2022 gross generation and net generation values for Hodag Solar (Plant 65968)

January 16, 2024

The 2022 EIA-923 detailed data files were revised to include plant-level coal and petroleum coke fuel stocks data. The Office of Management and Budget clearance of Form EIA-923 in 2017 specified that EIA will publicly release, no earlier than the last business day of December 2023, monthly and annual coal and petroleum coke stocks data by plant for the period 2022.

March 8, 2023

We revised the 2021 Form EIA-923 detailed data files to:

  • Correct the reported 2021 fossil fuel receipts, fossil fuel stocks, fuel consumption, gross generation, and net generation values for the Astoria Generating Station (Plant 8906)
  • Correct the reported 2021 fossil fuel receipts, fossil fuel stocks, fuel consumption, gross generation, and net generation values for the Selkirk Cogen power plant (Plant 10725)
  • Correct the reported 2021 gross generation and net generation values for the St Lucie nuclear power plant (Plant 6045)
  • Correct the reported 2021 gross generation and net generation values for the Puna Geothermal Venture I power plant (Plant 52028)
  • Correct the reported 2021 fossil fuel receipts, fossil fuel stocks, fuel consumption, gross generation, and net generation values for the Spiritwood Station power plant (Plant 56786)
  • Correct the reported 2021 fossil fuel receipts, fossil fuel stocks, fuel consumption, gross generation, and net generation values for the Newton power plant (Plant 6017)

The 2021 EIA-923 detailed data files were revised to include plant-level coal and petroleum coke fuel stocks data. The Office and Management and Budget clearance of Form EIA-923 in 2017 specified that EIA will publicly release, no earlier than the last business day of December 2022, monthly and annual coal and petroleum coke stocks data by plant for the period 2021.

August 11, 2022

We revised the 2014 through 2020 Form EIA-923 detailed data files to:

  • Correct the reported 2018 through 2020 fossil fuel receipts, fuel consumption, and net generation values for the Mustang power plant (Plant 2953)
  • Correct the reported 2019 through 2020 bituminous coal stock values for the W H Zimmer power plant (Plant 6019)
  • Correct the reported 2020 fuel consumption, gross generation, and net generation values for the Collins Pine Project power plant (Plant 10661)
  • Correct the reported 2014 through 2020 net generation values for the Fremont Energy Center power plant (Plant 55701)

February 1, 2022

We revised the 2020 Form EIA-923 detailed data files to:

  • Correct the reported fuel consumption and net generation values for the Georgetown power plant (Plant 7759)
  • Correct the reported water consumption volume in October 2020 for the Belews Creek power plant (Plant 8042)
