Re-release Form EIA-923 detailed data files:

August 19, 2025

We revised the 2023 Form EIA-923 detailed data files to correct:

• The reported 2023 fuel consumption data for the Owatonna power plant (Plant 2003)
• The reported fuel stocks at the Williams power plant (Plant 3298) so that no anthracite coal stocks are reported in 2023, only bituminous coal stocks
• The reported 2023 electricity generation for the combined-cycle steam part (CA) prime mover at the Dresden Energy Facility (Plant 55350) so that all electricity generation for this prime mover is associated with generator 3, not generator 1
• The reported 2023 electricity generation for the Hazle Spindle (Plant 57716) so that all 12 months of electricity generation are reported monthly and not as just an annual total
• The reported 2023 fuel consumption data reported for the La Luz Energy Center (Plant 58284)
• The 2023 prime mover type reported at the Sunflower Energy Center, LLC, (Plant 65738)

The 2023 EIA-923 detailed data files were revised to include plant-level coal and petroleum coke fuel stocks data. The Office and Management and Budget clearance of Form EIA-923 in 2017 specified that EIA will publicly release, no earlier than the last business day of December 2024, monthly and annual coal and petroleum coke stocks data by plant for the period 2023.

October 3, 2024

We revised the 2022 Form EIA-923 detailed data files to:

• Correct the reported May 2022 heat content of the wood/wood waste solids (WDS) energy source for Woodland Pulp, LLC (Plant 10613)
• Correct the reported 2022 revenue from sales for resale value for Albany Green Energy (Plant 60340)
• Correct the reported prime mover for New Orleans Power (Plant 60928) from combustion (natural gas) turbine (GT) to internal combustion engine (IC)
• Correct the reported 2022 gross generation and net generation values for Hodag Solar (Plant 65968)

• Correct the reported 2021 fossil fuel receipts, fossil fuel stocks, fuel consumption, gross generation, and net generation values for the Selkirk Cogen power plant (Plant 10725)
• Correct the reported 2021 gross generation and net generation values for the St Lucie nuclear power plant (Plant 6045)
• Correct the reported 2021 gross generation and net generation values for the Puna Geothermal Venture I power plant (Plant 52028)
• Correct the reported 2021 fossil fuel receipts, fossil fuel stocks, fuel consumption, gross generation, and net generation values for the Spiritwood Station power plant (Plant 56786)
• Correct the reported 2021 fossil fuel receipts, fossil fuel stocks, fuel consumption, gross generation, and net generation values for the Newton power plant (Plant 6017)
