EIA presents updated long-term energy projections

WHAT:

EIA releases the findings of Annual Energy Outlook 2019 (AEO) with long-term projections of U.S. energy supply, demand, and prices, including cases that address alternative assumptions regarding U.S. economic growth rates, domestic energy resources and technology, and world oil prices. Included will also be a discussion of EIA’s January 2019 Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO). The event will feature presentations by EIA Administrator Dr. Linda Capuano and Tim Hess followed by a panel discussion about the latest AEO and STEO.

Panelists will include: Kevin Book, Managing Director, ClearView Energy Partners LLC; James Edgar, Director of Strategic Planning and Economic Evaluation, Enbridge; Jason Grumet, President, Bipartisan Policy Center; Colette D. Honorable, Senior Fellow, BPC, Partner, Reed Smith LLP, Former Commissioner, FERC; Arshad Mansoor, Senior Vice President for Research and Development, Electric Power Research Institute; Rick Smead, Managing Director of Advisory Services, RBN Energy LLC.
