Natural Gas Survey Form Changes Proposed for 2021 - Comments are due on January 7, 2021

The proposed revisions were announced to the public via a 30-Day Federal Register Notice (FRN) published on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 with changes. The FRN asks the public to submit comments by January 7, 2021.
Following this 30-day FRN comment period, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) will review comments. If the proposed package is approved, EIA expects these changes will be effective beginning January 2021.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) is proposing changes to its natural gas data collection survey forms for 2020. Proposed revised forms and instructions are as follows:
