Navigator Tables
(Current Version)
Description of Changes for 2010 Data
  • Supply and Disposition
  • Rename “Natural Gas Liquids and LRGs” to “Natural Gas Plant Liquids and Liquefied Refinery Gases.”
  • Add processing gains and losses at blending terminals to values reported as “Refinery and Blender Net Production”. This means the difference between “Refinery and Blender Net Production” and “Refinery and Blender Net Input” includes gains and losses at blending terminals beginning with monthly data for January 2010.
  • Remove Gasoline Treated as Blendstock (GTAB) from Motor Gasoline Blending Components, Reformulated. All GTAB will be included in Motor Gasoline Blending Components, Conventional beginning with data for January 2010.
  • Discontinue reclassification of imbalances of Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) to finished motor gasoline through the motor gasoline adjustment. Discontinue calculation of MTBE implied net receipts on tables by Petroleum Administration for Defense (PAD) Districts.
  • U.S. Crude Oil Supply & Disposition
  • In the Supply section add Net Receipts.
  • In the Ending Stocks section the Commercial category will be further broken out.
  • A new SPR Stocks section will be added.
  • A new SPR Receipts Detail section will be added.
  • A new Imports section will be added.
  • Refinery & Blender Net Input
  • Refinery Net Input
  • Blender Net Input
  • Combine Motor Gasoline Blending Components, Reformulated, "RBOB for Blending with Ether" and "RBOB for Blending with Alcohol" into one "RBOB" category.
  • Eliminate GTAB under Motor Gasoline Blending Components, Reformulated. Include all GTAB as a subset of Motor Gasoline Blending Components, Conventional.
  • Refinery & Blender Net Production
  • Refinery Net Production
  • Blender Net Production
  • Change the label of Finished Motor Gasoline, Reformulated, “Blended with Alcohol” to “Blended with Fuel Ethanol”.
  • Combine Finished Motor Gasoline, Reformulated, “Blended with Ether”, and “Non-Oxygenated” into one category called “Other”. Subsets of Finished Motor Gasoline, Reformulated will be “Blended with Fuel Ethanol” and “Other”.
  • Change the label of Finished Motor Gasoline, Conventional, “Blended with Alcohol” to “Blended with Fuel Ethanol”.
  • Add “Ed55 and Lower” and “Greater than Ed55” as subsets of Finished Motor Gasoline, Conventional, Blended with Fuel Ethanol. “Ed55 and Lower” refers to finished conventional gasoline blended with fuel ethanol where the denatured fuel ethanol is 55% or less by volume. “Greater than Ed55” refers to finished conventional motor gasoline blended with fuel ethanol where the denatured fuel ethanol is greater than 55% by volume. E85 gasoline will be reported as “Greater than Ed55”.
  • Add “Processing Gain (-) or Loss (+)” to “Blender Net Production” tables to account for gains and losses reported by blending terminals. Gains and losses reported by blending terminals will be included in the existing line for reporting “Processing Gain (-) or Loss (+)” on “Refinery and Blender Net Production” tables.
  • Imports by Area of Entry
  • Imports by Processing Area
  • Rename the commodity “Natural Gas Liquids and LRGs” to “Natural Gas Plant Liquids and Liquefied Refinery Gases.”
  • Combined Motor Gasoline Blending Components, Reformulated, “RBOB for Blending with Ether” and “RBOB for Blending with Alcohol” into one “RBOB” category.
  • Eliminate GTAB as a line item under Motor Gasoline Blending Components, Reformulated. Report all GTAB as a subset of Motor Gasoline Blending Components, Conventional.
Subsets of Finished Motor Gasoline, Reformulated are “Blended with Fuel Ethanol” and “Other”.
E85 gasoline is reported as “Greater than Ed55”.
