NOVA Labs on PBS.org

NOVA Labs is a new digital platform developed by WGBH for PBS.org to encourage students and citizen scientists of all ages to actively participate in the scientific process. The site includes a Sun Lab and an Energy Lab, both targeted at teens.

Users can learn how to predict solar storms in the Sun Lab or design renewable energy systems in the Energy Lab. Each Lab provides a number of short, informative videos that cover the basics—key concepts, explanations of the technologies involved, and an overview of some of the most important questions and challenges in each field. Plus, NOVA Labs includes a Meet the Scientists page where teens can learn about careers in these exciting fields.
