Algeria Was Major Source of ‘98 Import Increase
Notes:
- The major source of net imports increase was from Algeria. It supplied almost 19 thousand barrels per day more in 1998 than in 1997.
- The warm winter in the U.S. and in Europe kept propane demand weak, but supply moved ahead. 1998 saw rising exports from Algeria, which found their way to the U.S.
