• As this table shows, the calendar year 1998, which covers the end of winter 1997/98 and beginning of winter 1998/99, was very warm in the major residential propane-consuming regions, keeping demand down.

• Weather also affected the distillate market. The major heating oil region (New England) was also very warm.
