| Overview: No retail unbundling program for residential customers is being considered at this time by either the Missouri Public Service Commission or the State legislature. It has been discussed in the legislature, but nothing is currently in progress. Industrial and commercial customers have been able to receive unbundled service since 1986. The utilities still provide meter reading, billing, maintenance, and other ancillary services. |
| EIA State Data: In 2007, Missouri had 1,354,173 residential and 142,965 commercial customers. They consumed approximately 102 and 59 billion cubic feet of natural gas, respectively. The average prices residential and commercial customers paid for natural gas from local distribution companies were $13.42 and $11.82 per thousand cubic feet, respectively. |
