Retail Unbundling - North Dakota
Status: The state has no unbundled service
programs for residential customers.
Overview: No retail unbundling program is being
considered at this time by either the North Dakota Public Service Commission or
the state legislature.
EIA State Data: In 2003, North Dakota had 110,048
residential and 16,202 commercial customers. They consumed 12
and 11 billion cubic feet of natural gas, respectively. The average prices paid for natural gas
purchased from local distribution companies by residential and commercial
customers were $7.25 and $6.89 per thousand cubic feet, respectively.
