Special Report on the Natural Gas Monthly Balancing Item
A new report, Seasonality in the Natural Gas Balancing Item: Historical Trends and Corrective Measures, is now available. This report examines an underlying cause of seasonal imbalances in EIA's natural gas supply and disposition data over time. The report also outlines an improved methodology to achieve more accurate calendar-month consumption estimates for the residential and commercial sectors.
