The tutorial video helps with learning the new charting and file tools, this is super, keep it coming! I have no suggestions at this time.
02/23/2012 - United States
I use the NG and CL weekly data and find the Beta to be very user friendly.
02/20/2012 - Texas, United States
Great job! I would suggest adding an option to make the units in the y-axis a "per day" figure in the monthly view. Other suggestions: (1)make us of the second vertical axis if more than one field is selected and values vary between the two fields and (2) give an option to limit the time span
02/19/2012 - Oklahoma, United States
Neat tool, but why not also allow for natural gas supply and demand components to be shown in MCf/d units, which really the industry standard for this type of data?
02/17/2012 - Oklahoma, United States
This looks to be a handy tool. Thanks! It would be great if there was a way to toggle between chart types and units of measurement.
02/16/2012 - Texas, United States
when querying for the number of producing gas wells, the vertical axis begins with negative numbers for some areas selected, such Gulf of Mexico, Nevada and Missouri. Thanks ! http://www.eia.gov/beta/dnav/ng/ng_prod_wells_s1_a.htm
02/14/2012 - Illinois, United States
I was the site today for 5 minutes and it worked very well. (other developers should take note.)I'm on the "official site" a lot and will be watching your progress here.
02/13/2012 - Texas, United States
Can you also provide a breakdown by field/reservoir to graph?
02/13/2012 - New York, United States
I was looking for natural gas prices (historical for the last 5 or so years) and was able to find it in a matter of seconds. You'd be surprised how difficult it is to find commodity prices sometimes. Good stuff!
02/13/2012 - India
Mainly while plotting data for natural gas, we tend to look at it in terms of bcf/d. It will be great if that feature can be included in the beta version where we will be able to see the charts in bcf/d. Thanks.

Nice web site. Very slick user interface. The only issue I had was navigation - I had to use the back button to go back and forth between pages. It would be nice to have easier navigation between the different pages. It would also be nice to include some definitions or a glossary for us neophytes, for example: what's the difference between the "Commercial Sector" and the "Industrial Sector", what does "Dry Production" mean, what does "Balancing Item" mean in a chart. I think I can guess at their meanings but it would be nice to have a formal description of what the terms mean and/or what they include. Perhaps you could click or hover on a label to get it's definition or description. Very responsive and easy to use. Thumbs up.

I like the graphing - THANKS. A lot of times I need to just check data and get a feel for the trends are, so this is very helpful. Can we export just selected data series in the same way that we can now graph them? That would also be helpful.
02/11/2012 - Colorado, United States
Great work!
02/10/2012 - Maine, United States
The graphing feature is excellent.
02/10/2012 - New York, United States
This is excellent. Please, more of this. Absolutely superb.
02/09/2012 - Colombia
Very good and friendly tool. Congratulations Gilberto J.
02/09/2012 - California, United States
I cut and paste into my own files so I probably won't use the feature. However for the uninformed use, EIA might suggest that prices be plotted on a semi-log scale as prices tend to grow exponentially. This might not matter over the short-term but makes a big difference over the span of decades.
02/09/2012 - Louisiana, United States
Great job. This is good example of government providing a really useful service.
