Explains the requirements to protect survey information collected under the Confidential Information Protection and Statistical Efficiency Act (CIPSEA).
Explains the penalties for intentionally violating this law.
Yes, you must take this training if you are:
An EIA employee working with identifiable survey information protected under CIPSEA.
An agent of EIA; that is, you are an EIA contractor, employee, researcher, or an employee of a private organization or institution of higher learning that has a contract or agreement with EIA, and you are in possession of identifiable survey information protected under CIPSEA.
A person granted access to identifiable survey information protected under CIPSEA (e.g., computer specialists, database administrators, analysts, etc.).
A first-level supervisor of any person who will have access to identifiable survey information protected under CIPSEA.
A person designated to take this training by his/her Office Director (EIA employees) or contractor manager (EIA contractor employees).
